local student win silver medal at the 2012 USA Junior Olympics & National Tae Kwon Do Championships

Tyler Berke, a 3^rd grader from John G. Dinkelmeyer Elementary School, took home a Silver Medal at the 2012 USA Junior Olympics & National Tae Kwon Do Championships held the 1^st week of July in Dallas, Texas. As a member of the UCTA Team representing Ultimate Champion’s Tae Kwon Do in Bellmore, Tyler earned his medal in the 8-9 year old Weapons Category competing as a green belt. Tyler’s
routine feature the use of Nunchuks and he was trained locally by Masters Christine Oh and Chaeuk Heo. Tyler started Tae Kwon Do at the age of 6. With strong passion and dedication to Tae Kwon Do he looks forward to becoming a Black Belt next month.
