The Art of Wise Water Use

New York American Water Announces Art Contest for Service Area Fifth Graders.

New York American Water invites all fifth-grade students in its service areas to draw on their artistic talents and convey the importance of using water wisely. By participating, students will not only learn about the value of our precious water resources, but they also have the chance to win a $100, a $50, or a $25 gift card. All student entrants will receive a Be Water Wise water bottle and a certificate of recognition.


Entries should reflect the theme of water conservation. This includes, but is not limited to, topics related to importance of saving water, ways we can conserve, as well as the importance of protecting our drinking water supply.

All completed entries must be postmarked or received by May 27, 2016, and must be accompanied by an attached and completed entry form. Entry forms will not be accepted by e-mail. All entries should be mailed to:
