Bellmore-Merrick’s One Voice, One Message Run Set For March 25
The run will raise money for Rise Against Hunger, an organization that helps families in need of food.

The Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District announced that through its Young Ambassadors program, it is organizing the third annual One Voice, one Message 5K Run/Walk, with all proceeds benefiting Rise Against Hunger, an organization that helps families in need of food and nourishment.
“Rise Against Hunger’s mission closely aligns with Bellmore-Merrick’s commitment to combat hunger within Bellmore, Merrick and beyond,” said Robyn Einbinder, race co-organizer and social studies chairperson. “The district recently opened the Community Cupboard, and the support has been overwhelmingly positive. Last year, the district raised close to $10,000 for our cause.”
The 5K will take place on Saturday, March 25. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. and the race begins at 9 a.m. Additional parking will be available at Mepham high School, where shuttle buses will be provided to and from the race site.
