Cops: Men Had Loaded Gun in Car on Southern State Parkway
Men pulled over in North Bellmore for speeding, found with gun, according to NYS Troopers.

Two men face charges after they were pulled over on the Southern State Parkway with a gun in the car, according to New York State Police.
Troopers said they stopped a car at 1:39 a.m. Saturday for driving at 81 MPH in a 55 MPH zone near Exit 26 in North Bellmore. While speaking with driver Paul Larue, 32, of Hempstead, troopers said they smelled marijuana. They searched the car and found a loaded handgun, officers said.
Larue and his passenger, Chris Maddox, 31, of Hempstead, were charged with third-degree possession of a weapon. They were held for arraignment at First District Court in Hempstead.
