Flight Lands Safely at JFK After Bomb Threat

About 200 passengers arrive safely after a bomb threat was reported on American Airlines Flight 67.

Passengers flying into New York from Spain arrived safely after a bomb threat was reported on their plane.

American Airlines Flight 67 arrived at around 12:30 p.m. Sunday at John F. Kennedy Airport but was “held after landing due to an unspecified threat,” according to passenger Jacob Rosenberg, who live-tweeted the incident.

K-9 units searched the plane after it landed and inspected bags belonging to passengers, who were loaded onto buses and held for questioning on the tarmac, according to Newsday.

No one was reportedly injured in the incident.

The 200 passengers aboard the plane were arriving from Barcelona on Sunday, one of the busiest travel days of the year.
