Hempstead Town Board Meets

Among the items on the Public Hearing calendar are the following in and near Bellmore:

  • 6542-A  Wantagh: Petition of Commissioner of Buildings to demolish attached garage and rear addition, shore or replace deteriorated structural members, seal all openings and weather proof soffits and eaves, board up all broken windows, cut down and remove all vegetation within five feet of structure and any growth deemed excessive, remove unregistered motor vehicle and remove all litter and debris from premises - Twisting Ln. approx. 42' west of Seamans Neck Rd. – Department of Buildings.
  • 28194 Bellmore/Oceanside: Proposed Local Law Re: "REGULATIONS AND RESTRICTIONS" to limit parking in these communities. -To amend Chapter 202 of the Code of the Town of Hempstead.
  • 28197 Bellmore:  Proposed Local Law Re: "TRAFFIC REGULATIONS IN THE VICINITY OF SCHOOLS" in Bellmore. -To amend Section 197-13 of the Code of the Town of Hempstead.
  • 20614 Bellmore: Proposed Local Law Re: "LOADING ZONES" in Bellmore. -To amend Section 202-53 of the Code of the Town of Hempstead.
  • 26804 Bellmore: Application of TOBY LIZ REALTY, INC. & 853 SUNRISE REALTY CORP. d/b/a HARLEY DAVIDSON MOTORCYCLES for Special Exception (public garage) to utilize premises for automotive repairs, permission to park in front yard setback – Bellmore, southeast corner of Sunrise Hwy. & Newbridge Rd.
