  1. 25th Annual Bellmore Family Street Festival Where/When? Bellmore Long Island Rail Road Station; Friday, Saturday, Sunday 11 a.m - 6 p.m. Why Go?Celebrating its 25th anniversary, this year's street festival sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of the Bellmores offers over 130 first-rate exhibits & attractions in a 25 square block area, including an exciting carnival. Pricing: Open To All.
  2. Comedy Open Mic Night Where/When? Brokerage Comedy Club; Friday, 10:30 p.m. Why Go? Comics are invited to hone their craft and build their act! Each comic gets seven minutes of stage time and is required to bring six paying customers. The Brokerage also asks that the act be relatively clean and be original. Pricing: $12 and a 2-beverage per person minimum at the table is required.

The Garden City Hotel Hosts Alice In Wonderland “Unbirthday” Tea Party Where/When? Garden City Hotel; Saturday, 2 p.m. Why Go? The Garden City Hotel hosts an Alice in Wonderland-themed “Un-birthday” Tea Party on Saturday. Activities including a meet and greet with Alice, a reading from the Lewis Carroll classic, and, “drink me” and “eat me” delights. Pricing: $39 for both children and adults.
  4. 32nd Annual Sands Point Medieval Festival Where/When? 1127 Middle Neck Rd, Port Washington; Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Why Go? Enjoy an exciting adventure into a land of knights and fair maidens. Each day of this festival begins with a colorful procession of the royal court, followed by knights jousting on horseback with swords, maces and battle axes alongside the great lawn. Pricing: $12 adults, $6 children 4-12 yrs., under 4 free.
  5. Fall Fluke and Bluefish Tournament Where/When? Jones Beach State Park; Sunday, 8 a.m. Why Go? Jones Beach State Park will host its annual Fall Fluke and Bluefish Tournament at the Field 10 fishing pier. Awards will be held Sunday at 5 p.m. Pricing: $15.
