Kennedy Graduate Advances to Tennis Doubles Semis

Scott Lipsky, a Kennedy High School graduate turned professional tennis player, and his doubles partner, Santiago Gonzalez of Mexico, made it to the semi-final round in Campbell's Hall of Fame Tennis Championships.

According to LongIslandTennisMagazine.com,

[The team was] the 7-6(6), 6-7(3), 10-7 winners against the team of Russian Alex Bogomolov Jr. and Gilles Mueller of Luxembourg. With the win, Lipsky & Gonzalez advance to the semifinals where they will face the team of Izak Van Der Merwe of South Africa and Raven Klaasen also of South Africa.
