Lloyd Frazier Memorial Golf and Tennis Outing

The Ronald McDonald House of Long Island will host it's 16th Memorial Golf & Tennis outing in honor of Lloyd Frazier, a McDonald's franchise owner who provided numerous meals to first responders in the days after September 11, 2001 this coming Monday, June 10th.

On 9/11 Frazier helped to rescue a police officer and firefighter who had collapsed from smoke inhalation into his restaurant and provided 700,000 free meals and bottled water to first responders over the ensuing days.

Frazier passed away in 2006 due to lung cancer.

The outing will be held at Tam O'Shanter Club in Brookville, NY from 9am to 9pm and all funds raised from the event will go to support the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island and services each year to provide a home for families who are staying at area hospitals while their children receive treatments for various diseases and conditions.
