• Congregation Beth Ohr launches new Jewish after-school program (liherald.com) — Families in Bellmore and nearby communities will soon have a new after-school option as Congregation Beth Ohr launches OHRchard, a camp-style Jewish program running Monday through Friday. The Bellmore-based synagogue's initiative blends Hebrew and Jewish learning with activities like cooking, sports, and filmmaking, offering transportation from local schools and aiming to provide a nurturing alternative to standard after-school care.
