Residents Pass Bellmore, North Bellmore Library Budgets

The North Bellmore Library budget was approved last night by a 115-32 margin. The North Bellmore Public Library's 2010-11 budget is $2,515,200, $4,600 less than 2009-10. This represents no change in residents' tax rate. 

Incumbent Edward Diller, who ran unopposed, received 93 votes. 

The Bellmore Memorial Library budget was approved by a vote of 66-40.  The total net operating budget for the fiscal year is $2,453,411, up from $2,434,683 in the fiscal year 2009-10.

Incumbent Robert Botwin was re-elected by a vote of 79-46.
