Teens: Kick off Summer with Beach Bag Book Club

Are you a teen looking for a good book to kick off summer?

The Beach Bag Book Club, held at the Merrick Library, is hosting their first gathering on Wednesday at 4:15 p.m.

Teens who sign up will get a summer treat and have the chance to buy books by popular teen authors Susane Colasanti (Keep Holding On) and Elizabeth Eulberg (Take a Bow) as well as from host and local author Jen Calonita (Belles).

All the authors will be on hand to talk about their books, writing and to sign copies.

The Beach Bag Book Club is a collaboration between the Merrick, North Merrick, Bellmore and North Bellmore Libraries. There is still time to register for Wednesday's meeting. To do so, call your local library.
