TOH Helps Residents Reduce Energy Costs
Holds informational community meetings to inform people about green living.

Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray (fifth right), Councilmembers Angie M. Cullin (second right) and Gary Hudes (third left) and Town Clerk Mark Bonilla (right) are joined by representatives of LIPA, RELI and the Department of Energy to announce a series of "How To" classes aimed at equipping town residents with tools to lower energy costs and reduce carbon footprints. The first seminars took place on Aug. 17 at Levittown Hall and Aug. 24 at the Merrick Road Golf Clubhouse. Those will be followed by seminars on Sept. 15 at Malverne Village Hall and Sept. 30 at Elmont Memorial Library both of which will take place at 7 p.m.
