• 2 Pedestrians Hurt In Crashes Hours Apart In Brookhaven Town On Monday: Police (patch.com) — A Bellport man driving in North Bellport struck a bicyclist Tuesday evening, sending the rider to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Suffolk police. The crash was one of several recent collisions in Brookhaven Town, including incidents in Port Jefferson Station, Shirley, Manorville, and Selden that also resulted in hospitalizations but no additional fatalities.
