(Brentwood Union Free School District)

Brentwood, N.Y. (September 2019)—The Brentwood Union Free School District (BUFSD) was one of ten school districts on Long Island that were the recipients of an abundance of school supplies for the 2019-2020 school year. In partnership with Suffolk Transportation and PSEG Long Island, United Way of Long Island’s Stuff-A-Bus program arrived at Brentwood’s Loretta Park and Laurel Park elementary schools with notebooks, rulers, pencils, and backpacks to help students kick off the new year on the right foot. This generous donation provides students and guardians of low-income families in the district with financial relief and helps prepare students for their academic studies throughout the year.
