Students in Mrs. Melissa Romano's AP, (Advanced Placement), English Literature and Composition course at Central Islip High School are finishing up their literary analysis presentations of their most recent novel, The Color Purple. This course is aligned with Stony Brook University through the ACE, (Accelerated College Education), Program. Students enrolled in this class have the option to earn three credits from SBU upon completion of the first semester. Stony Brook University's ACE Program provides students with the academic challenges of a college-level curriculum within their high school setting.
