• LI Driver Arrested After Fatal Lindenhurst Hit-And-Run: Police (patch.com) — A Brentwood resident was arrested at his home after Suffolk County police said he fled a pre-dawn crash on Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst that killed a pedestrian. The 65-year-old man is charged with leaving the scene of a fatal motor vehicle crash and was held overnight for arraignment, while the victim's identity is pending family notification.
