Man Charged With Robbing Brentwood Dunkin' Donuts: PD
The 57-year-old took an Uber during the robbery which was traced back to his home, police say. The Uber driver was not involved.

BRENTWOOD, NY - A Brentwood man was arrested after robbing a local Dunkin' Donuts on Sunday night, according to Suffolk Police.
Andrew Sandson, 57, entered the eatery on 759 Suffolk Avenue and handed a note to an employee at the counter at 9:30 p.m., police said.
The note said he had a gun and to give him cash, police said.

The employee complied, giving Sandson money from the store’s cash register, police said.
He then exited the store, got into a car, and left the scene, police said. No gun was displayed during the robbery and no one was injured.

A customer in the store made note of the car’s license plate number which was traced to an Uber that had driven Sandson to his home on Grant Avenue, police said.
The Uber driver was not involved in the robbery.
Sandson was arrested at his home at 10:11 p.m. and charged with third degree robbery.
He will be held overnight at the Third Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Monday.
