Man Shot During Central Islip Burglary
The resident was hospitalized after the shooting early Wednesday.

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY - A Central Islip man was shot during a burglary in his home early Wednesday, according to Suffolk Police.
The incident occurred at a home on Prospect Avenue at 1:24 a.m.
The resident was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore where he is currently in stable condition.
