• Cops Nab Suspect In Deadly Sunrise Highway Hit-Run (southshorepress.com) — Suffolk County police arrested a Brentwood man at his home after a homeless pedestrian was fatally struck in a hit-and-run on Sunrise Highway near North Indiana Avenue. Detectives say they traced the 2012 Honda Accord involved and charged the driver with leaving the scene of a fatal crash, while emphasizing he remains presumed innocent as the investigation continues.
