Police Offering $5K Reward For Info On Fatal Hit-And-Run

A 56-year-old Brentwood man was struck while crossing the street last year. The driver is still at large.

BRENTWOOD, NY - Police are offering a reward for help to identify and locate the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a Brentwood man last year.

Fredy Rivera-Bravo, 56, was crossing Second Avenue by 7th Street when he was struck by a car that fled the scene on November 19 at 3:15 a.m. R

Rivera-Bravo was transported to Southside Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police believe the vehicle possibly involved in the fatal crash may be a black 2017 or 2018 Kia Soul.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
