Residents Of Central Islip Condo Complex Flee Massive Blaze

Firefighters spent nearly four hours battling the devastating fire that broke out early Thursday.

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY - A massive blaze broke out at a Central Islip condo complex early Thursday.

Suffolk Police responded after a 911 caller reported the fire on Adams Road at about 12:40 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found the building fully engulfed.

Occupants of the building were evacuated.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.

Central Islip firefighters, as well as members of 6 other local departments, responded to the scene and spent almost 4 hours battling the fire, Newsday reports.
