Voter's Guide: Central Islip 2018-19 School Budget

What you need to know for election day.

Residents in the Central Islip School District will vote on the district's $210,833,025 proposed budget for the 2018-19 school year on Tuesday, May 15.

The proposal calls for a 3.54 percent increase in spending over the current year and the tax levy increase is 1.69 percent, which is below the tax levy cap.

Polls will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Alfano School gymnasium.
