• Briarcliff School District Installs Solar Panels (riverjournalonline.com) — Briarcliff Manor school buildings and the high school senior parking lot are getting extensive solar installations designed to cut energy use at no net cost to taxpayers and possibly generate extra revenue. Backed by strong voter approval, the district is also upgrading lighting, HVAC, and building efficiency, and is beginning to plan a future capital project to improve athletic fields and safety features.
