Event Details
This grassroots event came out of the dark, early days of the pandemic in 2020. We sought a safe way to recognize both the day and the importance of collaboration and community. This is our SEVENTH year with steady growth and participation.
This year, we will honor our key players - THE MUNICIPAL BACKBONE! Everyone from first responders to local, small businesses, neighborhood organizations, old cars, youth sports and dogs! Participation from agencies such as the MTA, FDNY, NYPD and NYC Sanitation is anticipated. And horses! We got horses coming!
The parade runs from the corner of West 251st St and Broadway and proceeds northwest on W251st to it's terminus at West 252nd St.
