5th Trial Set for Man Accused of Murdering 2 in Eastchester
The bodies of the victims were found in 1996.
EASTCHESTER, NY — A judge has set a date for the fifth trial for the man accused of murdering an Eastchester couple almost 20 years ago.
The Journal News said the jury selection for Selwyn Days’ murder trial will begin September 19 before Westchester County Court Judge Barbara Zambelli.
Days has served 15 years in prison for the murders of Archie Harris and Betty Ramcharan.

Their bodies were found November 21, 1996, and Days was arrested in February 2001.
He was sentenced to two consecutive 25-year terms in state prison. His conviction was overturned in September.
