Approaching Storm: Eastchester School District Cancels Activities
The nor'easter is heading to the Hudson Valley.
EASTCHESTER, NY — As the nor’easter approached the Hudson Valley, schools and organizations are beginning to announce early closing and cancellation of afternoon activities.
The Eastchester Union Free School District has canceled all afternoon and evening activities Monday based on the weather forecast.
A spokeswoman for the district said there will be no Middle School and High School late buses.

Children who attend after school day care programs will be transported as usual (Lincoln, EASY, Woodlot, Cornerstone).
Recreation activities, such as EIBL, are also canceled.
