Board of Trustees Meet Tonight in Tuckahoe

The August meeting for the Tuckahoe Board of Trustees happens tonight at 8 p.m.

Some of the items on the agenda include:

• PRESENTATIONS:
  1. Mayor Ecklond recognizing Raymond Palma on his retirement from the Dept. of Public
  Works after 31 years of service.
  2. Mayor Ecklond recognizing Melvin Banks on his retirement from the Dept. of Public
  Works after 32 years of service.
  3. Presentation by Streetworks Development of Public and Off-site improvements in
  connection with the application of 300-308 Columbus Avenue.
  4. Presentation by Karen Ashton of the US Army Corp of Engineers regarding the status of
  the Yonkers Avenue Streambank Project.
• Resolution to Amend a Local Law on "Dance Halls and Cabarets" that the change in policy on liscencing will not have significant adverse impacts on the environment in the Village.
• Resolution to amend the Local Law regarding smoking in public spaces such as ballfields and playgrounds.
