Bronxville Adult School Begins 70th Year

The 70 year milestone will be celebrated throughout the 2012-2013 school year and residents should be receiving their course catalogs for the fall/winter registration in the mail by this week.

 

With registration officially beginning on August 1, the (BAS) celebrates 70 years of discovery, learning and community with an engaging line-up of courses and events for the Fall and Winter, much to the delight of the life-long learners who come back year after year.

The new BAS catalog should be arriving in area mailboxes if not already, then by the end of this week, but for those who may be away for the summer or on vacation, you can always go to their website at bronxvilleadultschool.org for the full line-up of new classes in every category.

  • Bookbinding Workshop
  • Fall Floral Wreath
  • Yoga, Pilates, Core Conditioning and Interval Training
  • Intro to Genealogy
  • Aromatherapy Workshop

And the highlights don't end there, the BAS will also be offering an entertaining lecture on Monet's Garden, excursions to the restored New York Historical Society and the Barnes Foundation near Philadelphia.
