Bronxville Chamber of Commerce Teams with PTA on Marketing Effort
Families new to the village will learn about local businesses.

The Bronxville Chamber of Commerce is launching a new initiative with help from the local PTA to reach families that are new to village and encourage local spending.
The Bronxville PTA has agreed to allow the chamber to include a handout in the materials the group distributes to families that are new to the school district, according to chamber officials. The materials will be designed to encourage parents to buy local and follow the chamber via its various channels (website, social media, newsletter). A copy of the 2015 Guide also will be disseminated.
Local businesses also can use the materials to extend special offers to these new families, such as 20 percent off a first purchase, for example.

To participate in the initiative, businesses should email chamber Director Susan Miele (director@bronxvillechamber.com) by Friday, Aug. 28. Include a promo code and notify staff to avoid any confusion when the offer is redeemed, and be sure to allow the offer to run from September 1, 2015, through December 31, 2015.
“The info will be compiled in a letter format, so there’s no requirement for graphic elements (offers will be in bullet-list form),” according to Miele. “I hope you’ll take advantage of this FREE opportunity exclusive to Chamber members!”
