Bronxville-Eastchester Reacts to Presidential Debate

With the first Presidential Debate taking place tonight, share your thoughts and feelings on the candidates remarks with the rest of our community.

 

So now that you are about to watch the first Presidential debate and hear some of the platforms and responses that both President Barack Obama and Gov. Mitt Romney are for or against, many feelings and opinions are likely to surface regarding who will lead the U.S. through the next four years.

The debate is being held at the University of Denver in Colorado and the topic will be domestic policy, with the evening moderated by Jim Lehrer, host of Newshour on PBS.

The debate is being televised from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and will be broadcast live on C-SPAN, ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC, as well as many cable news channels including CNN, Fox News and MSNBC.

Tuckahoe Mayor Steve Ecklond shared his insight into tonight's debate, saying that he planned to watch and was excited to learn more about the two candidates.

"The debate process provides a great window for the general public to look at the candidates expression and body language as well as listen to their positions on the issues instead of piecing together the sound bites we become saturated with," said Ecklond.
