A look at some of the incidents investigated by the Bronxville Police Department for the week of August 23 - August 29, 2010. 

August 24:

2:25 p.m. A lawn contractor was issued an appearance ticket for using a gas-powered leaf blower, which is prohibited by Village Code from June - September. The contractor was on Tanglewylde Avenue and was due in court on September 1.

August 25:

8:59 a.m. A person was issued an appearance ticket for using a gas-powered leaf blower on Woodland Avenue, which is in violation of Village code. The person is due in court on September 15.

11:08 a.m. An officer observed an employee of a lawn contracting companying using a gas-powered leaf blower on Pondfield Road. The employee was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on September 15.

1:34 p.m. An officer observed an employee of another lawn contracting company using a gas-powered leaf blower. The employee was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on September 15.
