A look at some of the incidents investigated by the Bronxville Police Department for the week of August 9 - August 15, 2010. 

August 10:

9:33 a.m. The license plate reader detected that a 2010 Lexus was being driven with a suspended registration on account of an insurance lapse. The driver was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, the car was impounded and the driver was due in court on August 18.

August 13:

8:55 p.m. Police received a call from a doctor at Lawrence Hospital, who said there was a man, whose name they knew, asking for medical treatment under a different name. The doctor told police that the man, who claimed his name was Johna Williams, had been in the ER before under different aliases. Officers responded, determined he falsified documents and arrested the man, charging him with forgery in the 2nd degree. Bail was set at $3,500, which he couldn't make, so he was transported to Westchester County Jail.

August 15:

10:40 a.m The license plate reader indicated that a 2000 Toyota was being driven with a suspended license, due to an insurance lapse. The driver was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, the car was impounded and the driver is due in court on September 1.

12:05 p.m. Police received a report from a Yonkers resident that his car had been stolen. He said that on August 13 at 11 p.m. he parked his car, a 2005 Honda, on Palmer Avenue near Paxton. When he went back at 10 a.m. on August 14, the car wasn't there.
