A look at some of the incidents investigated by the Bronxville Police Department

A rundown of some of the incidents investigated by the Bronxville Police Department during the week of June 1 – June 6, 2010. 

June 3:

8:47 a.m. A 50-year-old Carmel resident was issued a summons for using a gas-powered leaf blower, which is prohibited by Village code from June – September. The man, Kenneth Keeler, an employee of Demarino Landscaping, was using a gas-powered leaf blower while gardening at 50 Sagamore Road. He is set to appear in Village Court on June 16.

12:28 p.m. A 22-year-old Bronx resident was stopped after a license plate reader detected a suspended registration. The car, a 2003 Honda Civic was impounded and the driver, Don Johnson, was issued a summons and is set to appear in Village Court on June 16. 

June 4:

9:04 p.m. A White Plains road resident called police to report that a group was walking north on White Plains Rd., and acting disorderly. Police responded and dispersed the group, who they said were heading to the Immaculate Conception fair in Tuckahoe. 

June 5:

11:47 a.m. A home healthcare worker at the Stoneleigh apartment building called police to report that her patient had jumped out the window. Police responded and said that the 79-year-old Bronxville resident had jumped from the window. The investigation is ongoing and police are currently awaiting reports from the medical examiners office.

4:13 p.m. Police stopped a 20-year-old Yonkers resident driving a 2009 Toyota for a traffic violation. When they checked his driver's license, it showed that it was suspended on account of having three speeding violations in 18 months. The driver, Michael Sassano, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, 3rd degree, which is an unclassified misdemeanor. He is due in Village Court on June 16.
