Bronxville Police: Irene Special Circumstances No Longer in Effect

This message was sent out by Bronxville Chief of Police Christopher Satriale Monday morning.

After patrols of the Village and review of the cleanup efforts from Hurricane Irene, it is evident that the special circumstances encountered after the storm no longer exist to the extent necessary to lift restrictions.

Effective Monday 9/12/11:

  • Enforcement of the ban on thte use of gasoline powered leaf blowers will resume.
  • Enforcement of overnight parking restirctions will resume.
  • Enforcement of parking meters Vilalge wide will resume.
