The Concordia College baseball and softball teams held their annual alumni gameson Sunday afternoon. Over 40 alumni along with 100 friends and family came out to show their support for the programs as well as Team Adriana as over $1,000 was raised.
Representing Team Adriana was Kyla Aviles, older sister to Adriana, as well as Kyla’s mom, Raelynn Bertholf. Prior to the softball game, Kyla would throw out the first pitch in front of the large group of alumni and supporters.
Throughout the day donations were collected as well as t-shirts and wrist bands were sold. A total of $1,045 was raised during the afternoon and the t-shirts and wrist bands can still be bought to show support and help raise more money with all proceeds to go to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Pediatric Leukemia Research fund in Adriana’s name.
