Mary Cain is continuing her sensational sophomore season into winter track and field. Over the weekend Cain competed in the Jim Mitchell Invitational and broke the section 1 record for the 1000 meter run.

Score: Full Results – Girls
Highlights: Bronxville’s Mary Cain finished first in the 1000 meter run at 2:49.58 (a Section 1 record and forth best time in the state’s history), teammate Delia Hayes wasn’t far behind as she came in sixth at 3:14.74.

Highlights: Bronxville’s Hudson Thomas landed a third place finish in the high jump at 6-00.00.

Score: Bronxville Won 37-22
Highlights: Danielle Kelly picked up 11 points for Bronxville in the win, Daniella Cocucci had 8 in the loss.
Sport: Boy’s Basketball
Game: Pelham vs. Eastchester
Score: Pelham Won 63-53
Highlights: Pelham’s Matt Henson led all scorers with 24 points and teammate Lance Stokes added 15. Both Jack Daly and Dave Solano had 17 for Eastchester.

Game: Tuckahoe vs. Port Chester
Score: Tuckahoe Won 80-44
Highlights: Sky Williams led Tuckahoe to victory with 28 points, Justin Nolan added 23 and Mark Raymond had 12. In The loss Tim Brown picked up 21 points for the Rams.
