The Bronxville boy’s soccer team continued their winning ways with a victory at Pelham while Tuckahoe fell on the pitch to Yonkers. In volleyball Eastchester pulled off an easy home victory against Edgemont.

Yesterday’s Results:

 Sport: Boy’s Soccer

Game: Bronxville @ Pelham

Score:  Bronxville Wins 2-1

Highlights: Bronxville continued their stellar season on the strength of goals from Nick Capasso and Brewster Warble. Joey Colvin had an assist and goaltender Jack Conners had three saves in the win.

In the loss Pelham got a Charlie Livingstone goal off of a Gerardo Flores-Ramirez pass and the Pelicans got solid defense from goalie Luke Szendiuch.

Sport:  Boy’s Soccer

Game: Yonkers @ Tuckahoe

Score:  Tuckahoe Lost 3-0

Highlights: Tuckahoe fell to Yonkers for the second time this season as Yonkers took home a 3-0 victory. Tuckahoe goalie Matt Stupple had 15 saves in the net, but it wasn’t enough. Chris Cruz had 2 goals and an assist in the victory while teammate Hugo Rivas had 2 assists and a goal.

Sport: Volleyball

Game: Edgemont @ Eastchester

Score:  Eastchester Wins 3-0

Highlights: Eastchester took on Edgemont and won fairly convincingly in straight sets 25-12, 25-17, and 25-13. The Eagles were led by Catherine Manning who had 12 kills and an assist and Amy DePippo who added 4 kills and 12 assists. In the losing effort Tinli Yarrington had 19 assists for the Panthers.

• In field hockey, The Edgemont Panthers will visit Bronxville for a 4:15 p.m. game.
• In girl’s swimming, Eastchester will face off against Scarsdale at Westchester Community College at 5 p.m.
• In girl’s tennis, Eastchester will head to the Leewood Tennis Courts to take on Tuckahoe in a cross town battle.
• In girl’s soccer, Tuckahoe will welcome in Saunders for a 4:15 p.m. matchup.
