Anne Crowley pitched eight innings and stuck out seven in the win for the Eagles. Crowley along with Danielle Cacciola and Francesca Chiodi each had three hits in the win. Caitlin Hearle was 1-3 for Pelham with a home run.

Score: Saunders Won 12-7
Highlights: Mike Grascia led Saunders with two hits and three RBI in the road win. Bronxville’s Jackson Conway and Tyler Schultz each had two RBI in the win.

Score: Bronxville and Harrison Tied 218-Blind Brook 254
Sport: Softball
Game: Woodlands vs. Bronxville
Score: Bronxville Won 18-5
Highlights: Caitlin Grealy improved to 2-0 on the year as she got great run support in her complete game. Five Broncos had multiple hits in the win.

Score: Eastchester Won 14-6
Highlights: Nick Campana put forth a great day as the slugger went 2-5 with two doubles, four RBI and three runs for Eastchester in the win.

Score: Eastchester Won 3-2

Game: Riverside vs. Tuckahoe
Score: Tuckahoe Won 11-8
Highlights: L.J. Gallo was a double short of hitting for the cycle as he went 3-3 with two runs and four RBI in the win. Aaron Traeger also went yard for the Tigers as he went 2-2 with three RBI.

NYSSWA Announces Girls All-State Team:
The NYSSWA announced the All-State Teams for girls basketball earlier in the week. Each class has several teams, a Player of the Year and a Coach of the Year.
Class AA’s Player of the Year Breanna Steweart of Cicero-North Syracuse narrowly beat out Ossining’s junior Saniya Chong for the top award.
Pearl River’s took home the Player of the Year award in Class A and Irvington’s Lexi Martins was named the top player in Class B. Irvington Head Coach Gina Maher was also named the Coach of the Year.
Class C’s Player of the Year went to Greenwich’s Dani DeGregory and McKenzie Bezon of Elba won the award in Class D.
