The Bronxville boy’s soccer team has been playing well this whole season, but now that the Broncos are in the playoffs they have stepped it into another gear. Yesterday the top seeded Broncos defeated Putnam Valley 2-0 to advance.
The Eastchester volleyball team was also in action and they beat Byram Hills in a thrilling five set match.

Sport: Boy’s Soccer
Game: Putnam Valley @ Bronxville
Score: Bronxville Won 2-0
Highlights: The top seeded Broncos shut out Putnam Valley 2-0 yesterday. Bronxville’s goals were put in by Joey Colvin and Brewster Warble, Jack Connors led the defense with four saves in the goal.
Sport: Volleyball
Game: Byram Hills @ Eastchester
Score: Eastchester Won 3-2
Highlights: Eastchester and Byram Hills played a very competitive five set match as the Eagles advance into the final four. Eastchester won the first, third, and fifth sets to take the match victory, and the team was led by Samantha Longlade’s 18 kills and Briana Balsamo’s 14. Amy DePippo had 39 assists in the win.
Sport: Girl’s Tennis
Game: Section 1 Championships
Score: Barisano Won 6-4, 7-6
Highlights: Ursuline’s Sabrina Barisano won the section singles championship as she defeated Bronxville’s Amanda Austi at the Sound Shore Tennis Club in Port Chester.
