In the semifinals at 99 Eastchester’s Sam Arkin fell to North Rockland’s Derek Dimarsico in the 2:21 and at 132 Eastchester’s Rob Lalli fell to North Rockland’s Max Gomez 19-3.
At 220 A.J. Cesarini pinned Greeley’s Billy Marino at 1:25 in the semifinals, but then Cesarini was pinned by North Rockland’s Tyler Lilly in 1:51 in the finals.

The top four spots in each weight class in each division will head to sectionals next weekend.

Highlights: Jenna Corradina led Dobbs Ferry with 11 points in the win. Grace Devlin and Danielle Kelly each had seven in the loss for Bronxville.

Game: ETB vs. Mamaroneck
Score: ETB Won 8-5
Sport: Boys Basketball (Saturday)
Game: Bronxville vs. Eastchester
Score: Eastchester Won 65-51
Highlights: Dave Solano picked up 21 points as teammate Jack Daly added 18 and the Eagles cruised passed Bronxville. Jack Aherne led the Broncos with 14 points in the win.

Game: Tuckahoe vs. Saunders
Score: Tuckahoe Won 79-68
Highlights: Sky Williams led the Tigers once again with 30 points as Mark Raymond added 18 and Justin Nolan and Shyheim Nixon each tacked on 12 and Tuckahoe went on to beat Saunders in the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic. Saunders was led by Mike Sullivan’s 23 in the loss.

Score: Ursuline B Won 40-18
Highlights: Ursuline B’s Lindsay Bettke was the only player of the game to reach double figures with ten points. Brionna Johnson led Tuckahoe with eight.

College Sports Notebook:
Bearcats snap slide, point to Red Storm
Sean Kilpatrick of White Plains, who leads the University of Cincinnati men’s basketball team with 15.4 points per game, poured in 16 as the Bearcats pulled away from DePaul to post a 74-66 Big East Conference win at Fifth Third Arena in Cincinnati.
Dion Dixon of Chicago also had 16 points for the Bearcats (16-7, 6-4), who ended a three-game losing streak before meeting St. John’s (10-13, 4-7) at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPNU.
Mistake-prone DePaul committed 18 turnovers, helping Cincinnati enjoy a 22-10 advantage in points off turnovers.
The Bearcats, the Big East leaders in 3-point field goals going into the game, missed their first eight before Kilpatrick, who also had four assists, connected with seven seconds left in the first half to cut DePaul's halftime lead to 38-36. They went 3-of -15 on 3-pointers for the game.
Mavericks succeed on alumni day
Senior forward Talia Beaulieu of Waldorf, MD, hit the game-winning shot with just two seconds remaining as the Mercy College women’s basketball team beat NYIT, 75-74, in Dobbs Ferry to notch its second East Coast Conference (ECC) victory of the season.
The Mavericks (2-18, 2-9 ECC) hope to build up some steam when they host Dominican College (9-10, 9-4) tonight at 5:30 p.m.
Aysha Williams of New Rochelle had nine points, four rebounds, four steals and two assists in 22 minutes against NYIT, while Jessica Biggs of Nanuet saw only nine minutes of action, contributing two steals and a defensive rebound.
Nyack rallies, falls short
Four Warriors posted double figures in scoring as the Nyack College men’s basketball team put up a valiant effort before bowing to Chestnut Hill College, 81-76, in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest in Philadelphia, PA.
Freshman guard Chris Hampton of Brooklyn led the way for Nyack with 21 points, a team-high seven assists and a team-high six rebounds.
Sophomore Jose Pena-Benjamin of Rahway, NJ, scored 18 points with a team-high three steals, while freshman Khalid Samuels of Mount Vernon followed his career high in scoring against Bloomfield with a 17-point performance.
Senior forward Lafayette Curtis of Staten Island had 13 points and two blocked shots in the losing effort.
Nyack goes back to the well tonight in Wilmington, DE, to battle Goldey-Beacom College (11-8) at 7 p.m.
Bears are golden
Junior guard Damon Alston of New Britain, CT, scored a career high 21 points, and sophomore center Dennis Rinaldi of Harrison had 10 to lead the Western New England men’s basketball team to an 83-74 victory over Endicott in a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) contest at Beverly, MA.
This was the highest scoring total of the season for Western New England, which had four players in double figures and ended a three-game skid while raising its record to 7-13 overall and 4-10 in the conference.
Endicott (12-8, 7-6 CCC) led 41-36 at halftime and held an eight-point advantage at 58-50 before the Golden Bears turned it around.
WNU hosts Springfield College (13-6) tonight at 7 p.m.
