The ladies took center stage locally as Gretchen Richter’s Broncos and Marcelle Schepisi’s Eagles advanced Tuesday night. Both Richter and Schepisi had a huge part in their team’s victories.

With this weekend’s storm still toying with the playoff schedule tonight promises to be another exciting day in local athletics.

Yesterday’s Results:

Sport: Field Hockey

Game: Briarcliff @ Bronxville

Score:  Bronxville Won 7-0

Highlights: Led by Gretchen Richter the Broncos eased passed Briarcliff as the playoffs finally resumed. Richter had three goals and two assists in the win. Bailey Wood, Ally Pass, Willow Florek and Melissa Imperiale also scored a goal each as top seeded Bronxville advances.

Sport: Girl’s Soccer

Game: Our Lady of Lourdes @ Eastchester

Score:  Eastchester Won 2-1

Highlights: Eastchester resumed the playoffs with a narrow victory over Lourdes. Marcelle Schepisi had both Eagle goals and Sara Doyle had five saves as Eastchester advances.
