Dennis Winter Wins Re-Election as Eastchester Fire Commissioner

EASTCHESTER, NY - Incumbent Dennis J. Winter handily defeated challenger Cara M. Piliero in an election Tuesday to retain his Eastchester Fire Commissioner seat, according to unofficial results.

Currently the commission’s chairman, Winter received the backing of Mayor Mary Marvin and others and tallied 1,100 Votes. Piliero garnered 468 votes.

The Eastchester Fire District, which the commission oversees, covers Eastchester, Bronxville and Tuckahoe. It has an annual budget in excess of $16 million.
