Il Lago di Como, arguably Italy’s most attractive lake, infused with an abundance of history, tradition, beauty and glamour, Lago di Como works its magic all along its shoreline. A visit to Lago di Como would not be complete without a relaxing boat ride on its tranquil azure waters and a visit to the picturesque hillside town of Bellagio also known as the “Pearl on the Lake.” Nestled in the southern slopes of the dramatic, awe-inspiring Alps, Italy’s second largest lake, Lago Maggiore, exudes a relatively more vigorous vibe. Much of the surrounding terrain is characterized by untamed woodlands. The largest and most temperate of the northern lakes, Lago di Garda, is fringed with olive trees, vineyards and citrus trees which are quite rare at this latitude. Join us for a pre-lecture’s aperitivo and appetizers at 6:30pm.
