Eastchester Barnes & Noble Opening Delayed Again
The opening has been rescheduled for next week, a spokeswoman said.
EASTCHESTER, NY — The brand new Barnes & Noble store in Eastchester was scheduled to open to the public Thursday, Nov. 17.
However, Mary Ellen Keating, senior vice president of corporate communications and public affairs, said in an email that the public will have to wait until Tuesday, Nov. 22, due to construction issues.
The store, which the book retailer called “new concept,” was to have opened in October.

The Eastchester location is one of four new stores that will open around the country that will have full-service restaurants and will serve wine and beer.
There will also be large open spaces for in-store events.
