Criminal Mischief

On May 18, someone slashed two tires on a 2010 Mazda. The car was parked on Locust Avenue in Scarsdale, and sustained damage to the front and rear tires on the passenger side of the car.

Arrest in Domestic Incident

An Eastchester resident was arrested on May 21 for violating an order of protection that had been filed by his wife. He was charged with second degree criminal contempt and was arraigned and released on his own recognizance after police issued a new order of protection.

Shoplifting

Eastchester police arrested a Manhattan woman on May 21 after she shoplifted from the Lord & Taylor department store on White Plains Road.

The woman, Kaya Lefranc-Diallo, went into the dressing room at the department store and placed more than $2,000 worth of clothing and jewelry in her purse. Store security saw her entering the fitting room and removing the sensor tags from the items before putting them in her purse. She tried to leave the store without paying, but security detained her. She was charged with fourth degree grand larceny.
