August 16

12:53 p.m. A bicycle was reported missing from a garage on Garth Road. The caller told police that he had been away for six weeks and upon his return the bike, a Gary Fisher Mountain Bike valued at $750, was gone.
4:15 p.m. A caller reported that two children's purses were missing from Gymboree on White Plains Road. The caller said that two people had been shopping in the store and when they left, the items were gone. The purses were valued at $16.75 each.

August 17
3:29 a.m. A couple got into an argument and police said the girlfriend bumped the boyfriend's car with her car twice on the way to his house. The girlfriend, an Eastchester resident, was arrested and charged with criminal mischief, 2nd degree. She was due in court on August 18.
August 18:
11:25 a.m. Police arrested and charged a New Rochelle resident with criminal possession of stolen property, 4th degree. Police said he was found with a stolen credit card.
August 20:
2:02 p.m. A caller reported that someone had shot a paintball at the front door of a house on Lincoln Place. The cost of repair is not known.
11:15 p.m. Police were called to a house on Anderson Avenue in Scarsdale four times about loud music. After the final visit, police shut down the party.
August 22:
7:25 a.m. Police received a call from the Stop and Shop on White Plains Road saying that a woman had attempted to leave the store with a 30-pack of Coors Light beer. Employees stopped the woman, who said she didn't realize she had taken it. The beer was left at the store and no charges were pressed.
