Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the Eastchester Police Department for the week of August 23 – August 29, 2010.

August 24:

7:35 p.m. Police received a report that three males had gone into Sneaker Lounge on Mill Road and tried to purchase six pairs of sneakers worth about $1,873 with a stolen credit card. After the owner of the store wouldn't do the sale, he said the three came behind the counter, took the merchandise and the card and left the store.

August 25:

9:33 a.m. While on parking enforcement duty, one of the meter maids came upon a vehicle that had been reported stolen from New York City. Officers brought in the vehicle and notified the City, who recovered the vehicle.

August 26:

8:07 p.m. A woman reported to police that she was receiving text messages from her ex-husband's girlfriend.
