July 8:

12:52 p.m. An officer stopped someone driving on White Plains Road. The driver was discovered to have a suspended license and was issued a summons for aggravated unlicensed operation, 3rd degree. The car was impounded and the driver is due in court on July 14.

8:28 p.m. While shopping at American Eagle on White Plains Road, a woman left her purse in the store. After realizing she had forgotten it, she went back and located the purse where she had left it. The purse was still there, but $600 in cash had been taken from it.
July 9:
9:57 a.m. An employee of Leewood Country Club called police to report that his Sprint cell phone had been taken. The phone is valued at $150.
10:27 a.m. A Park Avenue resident called police to report that a planter that was on her property had been damaged. The planter is valued at $12.
July 11:
1:29 p.m. Police received a call from an employee at Lord & Taylor, stating that two women had been stopped for shoplifting and one had injured him. Police investigated and were told that a total of $1,227 worth of merchandise, which included jewelry and clothing, was taken from the store.
When the victim confronted the two women in the parking lot, he was kicked, scratched and received a bite on his right forearm, among other injuries, according to the police report.
Officers arrested the two women, a 19-year-old Yonkers resident and a 38-year-old Yonkers resident and charged them with robbery, 2nd. They were arraigned and bail was set at $25,000 bond or $10,000 cash. Neither could make bail and they were sent to Westchester County Jail.
The victim was transported by EVAC to Lawrence Hospital for injury treatment.
