June 24:

1:30 p.m. A Hartsdale resident and a Scarsdale resident were arrested and charged with petit larceny. The two were said to have taken merchandise from the Lord & Taylor on White Plains Rd. The items included clothing and jewelry with a total value of $311. They were released on their own recognizance and are due in court on July 7.

2:07 p.m. A can of spray paint worth $4 was taken from Cornell's True Value Hardware Store on White Plains Rd. Police have not yet located the person responsible.

 

June 27:

8:14 a.m. The window of a car on California Rd was broken and the pocketbook that had been left inside, which contained a variety of personal items, was taken.
